WELCOME
We’ve all been in your position, trying to google every last detail before the big moving in day. We try and make it easier every year to help you settle in, get connected, and get involved in all things CU right from the very start. Whether you’re currently walking with Jesus or full of objections to the faith, we’d love to get to know you! So, get in contact with us and let us know who you are. If you’re new to Christianity or thinking about some of the bigger questions of life, you’ll find answers here and at the very least friendly conversations and challenges that will help you grow.
You’re here to complete your degree, right? Well, of course, but we also believe there’s nothing more valuable you can do with your time than to mature in your relationship with God. The CU is a great body of Christians that will help you in your spiritual growth, however, we firmly hold that the Christian Union is only a supplement to a local church.
JOIN US FOR IMPACT GROUPS!
If you’re a fresher, or new to the CU, then Impact Groups are going to be perfect for you. Impact groups are a place where we can grow as a community together. To read the Bible, understand what God has done for us and learn what this means for our daily lives!

FIND A CHURCH
At the CU we encourage all our members to get involved with a local church, this is the place where we really grow as Christians and our held accountable by our Church Family. Check out our CHURCHES page to see some info about some of the churches in Sheffield, and some more tips on finding a Church. During the first weeks of term we’ll have walking groups organised on Sunday mornings to make it as easy as possible to try out different churches. Do look out for this in the Facebook group get in touch with any other questions about churches in Sheffield.
Want to find other people like you? The best thing you can do right now is join the main CU Facebook group and the 23/24 Freshers group ASAP. This is how you’ll be able to keep up with all our activities from week to week.
