We aren’t a church and come from many different church backgrounds, but we are united in our love for Christ and belief that the news of Jesus’ resurrection and the new life he promises is too exciting for us to keep to ourselves. With this in mind, our aim is to give students at Sheffield University a chance to hear what the Bible really says, to chat with believers and ask questions, and to think about what this means to them.
We have talks and events all year round for all who are interested in exploring what the Bible has to say about life. We aim to equip Christian students to share the gospel message with friends, housemates, course-mates and more by coming together to be trained and enthused for God’s work.
What We Do
Throughout the year we run a huge variety of events. Some are social activities to build and grow friendships, some are evangelistic events that challenge other students to consider the teachings of Jesus, some provide opportunities to answer those big questions, some are focused on food, and all are
Christ Centred.
CU Central
Our main weekly meeting at 7:30pm in the SU. We gather together to sing God’s praises, encourage each other, and hear from God's word.
Impact Groups
Small Groups within the CU, providing a place where we can grow as a community together. To read the Bible, understand what God has done for us and learn what this means for our daily lives.
Prayer Meetings
