As a Christian Union, we love to help connect students to local church families. Students in the CU come together from lots of different churches across Sheffield. As a CU we believe that our churches are at the centre of our lives as followers of Jesus.
At the start of each year we run what we call 'Church Search'. This is a great way to try out a church especially if you're a bit nervous about walking into church alone. Some students who already attend will meet up with you and take you to church with them. This is a great way to make friends within CU.

Wycliffe Independent Church comprises members from many nationalities and has been meeting in Sheffield for over 100 years.

Our students get involved in various ways from joining in our peaks and pub walks to leading worship, Lifegroups and playing active parts in the running of the church.
We also have events just for students – some are social and some are times when you can investigate matters that are important to you and you’re stage of life.

Our Sunday morning gatherings begin at 10:30am in our church building at 215 Sharrow Vale Road.
At our gathering we use a variety of worship music, some older hymns and some new. All of them are songs that the whole congregation sings together.
We tend toward an expository style of sermon preaching, gradually going through whole books of the Bible at a time, though occasionally taking breaks to learn about other topics as well.
Chinese Christian Church
Sheffield Chinese Christian Church is an inter-denominational Evangelical Christian Church reaching out to the Chinese in Sheffield and we welcome people of all races and denominations to worship with us. We have Services in 2 languages (English, Chinese) and 3 dialects (English, Cantonese and Mandarin).
